11.4v static is definitely battery
100% , no maybe about it
It's weird that the battery light doesn't come on just the check engine after I've tried to start it will b getting a new battery today anyway and hopefully that fixes it

battery light is actually alternator charging light
check engine light,
if you scanned it would probably show multiple modules low power

You'll be fine with a new battery. Any codes that are there will be related to the battery and won't be a problem. If you have access to a good scanner, you can go in a clear any codes you may have. You don't have to though.

Unfortunately have no access to a scanner was just going to change my battery but someone was saying you had to reset the computer and it got me a bit worried

the BCM will learn the battery state of charge overnight
i use a memory minder when changing batteries,
just so battery stations and clock are retained

I don't have 1 of those will just pull the old battery out and put the new 1 in

take your time
double check which end is positive and negative
on old battery and new battery
