if you test when clicking, probably only 6v

Thanks for the feedback will b getting a new battery tomorrow and see if it starts hopefully that's the problem and not the starter motor

Do I still jump start it the same way if it's push to start

if the battery has failed as bad as i suspect
i would not be jump starting it
if the battery has gone open circuit
when engine starts you may have severe voltage spikes
if it was just a flat battery, you would jump start same way
but remember, the alternator is not meant to charge a dead flat battery
and an alternator could set you back several hundred dollars

100% , no maybe about it
