and the ROPS

Interestingly, I would guesstimate that nearly every piece of yellow goods we sell is specced with ROPS. Must have in the workplace but not cars.

Wow, this thing is nuts! I haven't read the entire thread, but is it still road registered? Do you trailer it to events?

It is still road registered and blue plated. I was lucky and got in before all the new rules!! I drive it to and from events and take for the occasional drive on a week end.

I would love to trailer it, but for that I need a bigger newer car to do so and at the moment I am not really ready to go down that path, yet.

No offence, but aren't the terminals a bit on the flimsy side for 600CCA.
not doubting the battery could do it, but transferring through the small terminal seems a bit doubtful. Let us know how it goes though.

The price was 370.00 delivered

Deuce, I was thinking similar things when looking in to these as they are just a Haley battery, but there are a lot of guys that I do track stuff with using them and having no issues as yet.

One of the auto electricians did explain how it all works, but I am a little bit slow when it comes to electricity.
But it goes something like this. When you crank with a normal battery the voltage will drop straight away under crank, this will cause more resistance and more heat. The Lithium battery under crank will not drop voltage so there is less resistance and your car will actually crank faster.
Obviously the voltage will drop at some point as the battery discharges.

I need to change my terminals over and then I can see if mine will start from a 6 week slumber and it is on E85......
Should be a good test.
