Full Difilippo exhaust. 1 3/4 headers, 200 cell cats & 2.5” catback with bimodals welded back in.

Hey guys, just got the car back from the mechanic.
Full difilippo exhaust with bimodals & retune done.
Got VCM otr too.
Goes great and sounds good..... but.... Its too loud for my liking. The bimodals arent making much of a difference.
What are my options to quieten it down?

Maybe bimodal isn't working. Start car, close bimodal flap and go out side with a torch to see if the flaps have closed. If not, go back to your mechanic to fix.

I have the same system and as much as it is loud, that's the best bit! I took my bimodal fuse out to get all the exhaust all the time!

look at a different brand with centre section that has a muffler?

DPE have spiral mufflers in the center section.

Dpe has the biggest mufflers in the centre section on the market.
I think you need to make sure your bimodal is working

What I have recommended from the start, not DPE....

If your bimodals aren't quiet enough then you will need to change the centre section to a Manta, they have a muffler and 2 hotdogs, never had an issue with them being too loud even with the Manta rears and no bimodals.

So I see on the other thread you have found your left side bimodal valve not working. Take it back to the exhaust fitter and ask them to rectify it.
