Understood mate. Didn’t realise insurance implications were very serious.
So basically, that would mean the large percentage of p players driving a modified car will recieve a big surprise when an insurance claim needs to be made?

Yeah. If you’re not going to tell the insurance company about plainly obvious mods you’re giving them a get out of jail free card when claim time comes.

They may or may not choose to play that card but I certainly wouldn’t want to be finding out about that when you’ve caused a crash and your on the hook for a heap of money if they don’t pay out. You might as well have taken the money you paid in insurance premiums and flushed it down the toilet if they choose to back out of the claim.
