Hey fellas

Got my car detailed the other day and looks like the clown has tampered with the sunroof and potentially unclipped the lining of the sunshade (see pic).

I feel as though it's potentially fallen back into the roof trim.

What can I do here, is this an easy fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Make sure you notify them of what they've done, and also tell them to clean the massive stain on the headliner... Clearly they haven't done a very good job...

What kind of access do you get if you slide the sunroof back ?

The easy fix is, jump in the car, go back to where the detailing was done and request the clowns fix the damage

The potential problem is, you didn't do anything on the spot....Left it for a few days, which means they can deny doing it

Not much access, can't really get in at all. Just to clarify, that brown bit is reflecting off the mirror, see other pics
Looks like I would have to take off the whole roof trim?? What you think?

Does the sunroof glass not slide back completely within the roof cavity ?

I've called him and he came to look, I'll be looking to get it repaired and he can pay the damages

It does yeah
I'm thinking he's unclipped the sunshade and put the whole sunroof back and the lining of the sunshade has gotten stuck in there.
But I can't access it as the opening is too small

Don't touch the sunroof area anymore... As stated previously, take it back to the detailer so they can pay for the damages...

I got my Adventra LX8 sunshade realigned by the supplier some years ago. (It was Webasto in Myaree, Perth). I mucked around for ages and gave up since it seemed to be getting damaged by my big thumbs. They didn't remove anything.
They did it in a few minutes and he didn't want to get paid for the work, calling it warranty....I slipped him a $20 (lot of money for me).
It had been misaligned by a dumb passenger.
