VFII Factory Black Roof Option

So I came across this. Surely this is not acceptable? Anyone else with a factory black roof put on roof racks and find this when taking off the covers?

Seen it on a few now, the factory doesn't remove the covers when they paint the roof, so the trims get painted over. I can see a lot of flakey paint in time.

That is pretty bad, I wonder if Holden know about it and are or will actually do something about it as its done at HEC so the cars are off the line. I will raise/question this when I do a tour at GMH next month and see what response I get.

That's pretty crappy. Looks like some back yarder did it. I would have expected a lot better.

I'm not sure how it is done at HEC. I will ask when I go in a few weeks time and I will be taking print outs with me as well to show them down at the factory.

Are you sure that the roof is painted at HEC, or is it just installed in HEC (painted prior to delivery at HEC)?
