Yes I've seen at least one, just sightings while out & about though so no proof it wasn't aftermarket.

I've hardly see any SOAG Redlines let alone one's with a black roof.

I just Googled the colour to make sure I wasn't mis-remembering … :) … and yeah, it's the colour (maybe "shade"?) I thought it was.

My mum lives in the Sutherland Shire (if that means anything to anyone) and the proportion of Commodores is somewhat higher than the national average. :D

Picked a 2017 Redline forcGrath Liverpool today with 5000 on the clock; ex demo. Part of the deal was black roof; but I’m fucked why the idiots would paint it; you get it vinyl wrapped. Looks awesome. No wrap over the trim and all tucked nicely under the roof strip...looks like paint but it isn’t

Surely there's too big a chance that a wrap wouldn't last the warranty period?

Not with a 7 year warranty on the wrap; much prefer that than some dodgy paint job as described above. Easy to remove and replace when the need arises.

But it should be a factory paint job.

Why ? It’s an ex demo with 5000 on the clock. The only option is to wrap or have it done properly in a paint shop by guys that know what they are doing and don’t paint over the trim and rack covers. Thankfully I didn’t order it from “factory” as **** sounds bad with that option.

With wraps being as cheap as they are and also it protects your paint underneath. Easily removed with heat and your roof is as good as new; or wrap it again.
