Just a quick clarification, but is the ECU/BCM original? I didn’t think the paper clip trick worked on VT’s? I’ve always had to connect the ALDL plug to diagnostic software to read the codes on VT/VX.

Just wondering if the issue could be related to some previous conversion work.

if your talking about the starter relay the one in mine is a 4 pin.

4 pin is wrong. 5 pin is correct.
I'll post the correct part no. tomorrow.
