1 way to tell the difference between series 1 and 2 is the grille, series 1 has bars running straight up and down, series 2 has mesh style. Another way is rear suspension if it has a toe adjuster arm on it

I thought the rear toe adjuster was bought in vt s2?

Best way to work out if series 1 or 2 look at the build date on the id plate in engine bay. To many things could of been replaced over the age of the vehicle.
