I’m curious where does that green wire lead to? I might want to check resistance and if anyone knows the resistance max values for the DFI wires? Thanks
That green wire may have been replaced at some time?
I think its the 12 v power wire? which would go the pcm.
Looking again at you're pic, that green wire doesn't look to healthy to me?

That's a really good point, none of the wire colours on that DFI connector look factory.

Nah, don't judge a wires' health entirely by colour of its insulation. As long as it's still got some flex and there's no green oxidized rot on the copper it should be okay.

Car is an 04 series 2 VY “storm” Ute. The insulation tape and corrugated piping looked really old and factory but there were some bits of insulation on other wires underneath all that so who knows. Its been working so far since Monday if it ever fails again I’ll strip the entire loom
