VZ Acclaim wagon
G'Day,

Planning for a V6 engine replacement in our 2005 Acclaim Wagon. The car is stock from the showroom floor with some HSV extras (not engine related).

While we are saving $$ for a mechanic to do the job, I would like to create a checklist of items to be done while engine is out.

We plan to keep the car for another three years because it is a comfortable car to travel in and has not been in a accident.

So far:
1/ change coolant components (esp thermostat).
2/ consider installing LPG. If so, ensure valves are hardened in motor. Anything else for LPG ?
3/ I assume new belts, hoses would be installed as needed.

Any other suggestions ????

Anything for front suspension, steering, front end, etc ??

thanks.
