Be it a 4 speed , 5 speed or 6 speed, I'd be taking it back and get them to diagnosie what is causing the problem....

Price doesn't always indicate quality either.....You can pay $500 and get a pearler gearbox...you can also pay $5,000 and get a crap gearbox.....Either way, taking it to someone that knows their trade will determine the cause of the problem

I had the engine and transmission changed to exactly was was originally in the car before so the 5 speed was on both old and new engines

Not sure about the trim level

I couldn't tell you what the trim level is either on your profile pic... That wagon has had a hell of a life...

never seen a 5 speed in a wagon, id say you have a 4sp..

Go back to where work done and get them to test drive the car and check fluid levels etc.

Could be a broken wire on trans wiring low fluid or dud gearbox.
