People who think their sh!t doesn't stink and can't help but wave their cock around.

EDIT - this post should have been in the what pisses you off thread....meh, probably works just as well here.

So I go to get my wheel rotation and balance today, and they call - where's the lock nut key ?
I said it doesn't have any.
Yes if fuc.ing does.
As second owner, car arrived with lock nut thing in glovebox. I looked at the wheels and couldn't see any difference - little did i know that the lock nuts have a screw on cover that disguises them.
Anyway, during a spring clean at home, i think it was thrown out.

The dealer last week during a service was meant to rotate. Did not. And didn't mention anything. Do they carry some sort of master tool or key? Im sure im not the first ******** to lose their key

The dealers dont rotate them alot of the time because they just try and smash as many vehicles through a day to turn profits so alot of what they are supposed to do does not get done.
Most of them just do oil and filters most of the time.

Also is there any reason you are getting a balance?
Once they are balanced they are normally good for the life of the tyre unless a weight manages to fly off.

Might jump in now before drowning in this pissi*g contest.
I have run 40psi in the mistress with 19 or 20” wheels but after fitting the coilovers I’m thinking of dropping a couple of psi.

Just going to have a play and see what happens.

I run 38psi in the 20's on my Ute with 35 profile on the front and 30 profile on the rear.

I run 40psi in the 20's on my Merc with 30 profile on the front and 25 profile on the rear.

I use the higher psi in the lower profile tyres to protect the rims because a tyre fitter who I trust very much with his years of knowledge said this is what I should do and the past 15 years haven't proven him wrong.

I get my alignments done by people who specialise in suspensions and not 'jack-of-all trades mechanics' and the primary reason for this is because I don't use factory settings in my cars.

If I was to use factory settings I'd probably have the alignment done at a tyre place I trusted by the person who does it all day everyday and they should be able to do it with their eyes closed.

I'm going to someone other than who did the last alignment, because apparently the person who did our last alignment did it with their eyes closed. :)
