On my old Omega, I did CAI +exhaust +tune it did ok. I think a nice set of wheels and quad exhaust looks cool. The fuel economy on it was bad though my -cammed 6l usses less nearly lol

yeah found one with 70xxxkms - 10xxx more kms for 3300$ so that will be going in shortly. will be making sure lifters don't fail on this one or i'll cry .

so back from mechanics ,so cause cam shaft has been buggered. + other internals they also said their was a noise present from lower half of engine (knocking slightly) ,that there would be no point adding new cam and lifters with the noise from bottom end ,and I would be better off with a new...

yeah that's the way I am looking at. I think we will go down the road of a new cam + parts .(not stock cam) (and some better lifters than the standard crap) just waiting on some information tomorrow. Engine only has 60000kms and not driven for long so one can only hope.

so it seems the lifter has chewed out the camshaft lobe. :(and also possibly the cam may of left bit's in the engine same as LS Engine Trouble Information waiting on a finding from that. Should find out tomorrow has any one had this issue before? at this stage I believe my options are to...

those flanges should come off mine just pulled off (they are like a rubber metal thingy had to use a flat head screw driver to get them off

i just used a 1mill cutting disk with angle grinder lol had to very accurate though -sanding would also work

yeah you will need an SS or SV6 bar for it to fit 100% snug , i ran into the same issue i just modded (trimmed) it a little and 1-2 splt pin's and all is now 100% snug ,ull either have to modd 1 of the parts ,ur rear bumper or the diffuser or buy this VE Commodore Sedan SS Rear Bumper...

i brought the xforce 2 1/4 cat back system for my Omega V 3.6l also with G8 difuser yesterday this is the results I cannot be happier with the results :) :) before i had standard system 1 pipe with a 3 iinch tip that was loud (mebe to loud) bad photo quality :(

i have a 06 Omega ve V and i Read this first post and I'm thinking mine has none of these ,i only have exhaust & CAI -no lag with auto gear box ,goes like a cat on fire in sports shift love it,** br14nh i hope it gets better

same thing here as well seems to be a common issue boot actuator needs to be replaced. I am not sure if this is hard i just ignore it
