You can get the GT45 kit from ASE for $8.5k, that's pretty big. Injectors and pump add another $500. It's a day job pre-fab say another $1-1.5k, you could do most of it yourself though. Then it needs a tune.

As above you need to consider your trans, a shift kit would be wise, but you can also keep the boost down and drive it with some compassion now and then.

You don't just slap a turbo or supercharger on and go.

Lol, I did.

Lol, I did.
Lol. $500 for fuel system?

Injectors closer to $1k for 1000cc bosch
Ve twin pump setup $1k
Fuel reg $400
Fuel lines and fittings $750
Tune anywhere from $600-$1500

Exhaust system $3k

Don't need a shift kit in a 6l60e its done in tune.

It adds up quick

Well quoted...it was 11k drive away for a harrop charger.

Did that include fuel system? Bigger exhaust if its stock?

Or was it just bolt on harrop 1900 and 45lb injectors and only run 5psi?

Fuel system.

I already have a full exhaust system and vcm otr. This was quoted by the bloke who installed my headers cats intake and did the dyno tune.
And I think it was a 2300 harrop not 1900.

I also have a mate who's brother has a contract with harrop in the US who might be able to get me one extremely cheap..maybe. See how well my convincing skills are.

Yeah, I keep thinking in 6's but it's not much more. You can grab Siemens Deka 80lb for $550 and an 044 for $200 (or less). An FPR800 fuel reg is fine for $200 also, if needed.

Lol, fuel lines and fittings? Since when did some gates 3/8 uni and a couple of fuel injection hose clamps cost $750?

Exhaust is optional, high flow cats would be recommended. As for shift kits by tune, that's not a shift kit. A proper shift kit physically increases apply pressure, line pressure and removes overlap.

Will need two 044 size pumps for s gt45 setup.
Siemens dekas are **** and too small if you wanna run flex fuel.
Fpr800 is way too small and will surge pressure like a mofo. Need a fpr2000.
Will need 1/2 i.d. or bigger fuel lines to keep up fuel flow. Read "-8 braid". And running 70psi fuel pressure I wouldnt trust hose clamps and shorty rubber hose in a turbo engine bay.

If don't put a twin 3" or single 3.5' system your wasting your time.
Tuning auto in outer increases apply pressures, increase shiftline pressures and reduce overlap. It's a 6l60e not a turbo 700.

They're all perfectly adequate for the capability of the engine and the sort of boost you'd run. Deka series 4 run ethanol/methanol no sweat.

If you were building a sub 10 second monster, sure, go nuts.

Umm sorry but they aren't adeqauate.
A single 044 will not provide enough pressure or flow and motor will lean out
80lb Dekas will max out on e85 at 500hp at like 5500rpm
3/8 will not provide enough flow to keep up at all
An fpr 800 is toooooo small to regulate pressure. Will have massive spikes.

These motors will happily handle 12-13psi near stock.. That's 600hp.

Sorry mate but I can call half a dozen people with boosted ls's apart from myself to confirm as well as two big name ls tuners....

2.5" exhaust and 1 3/4" headers with high flow cats.
