I purchased the Enhanced Kit for my 06 VE SS-V and it works an absolute treat.
The seller is incredibly helpful and informative. The instructions shipped with the kit were very thorough with lots of pictures
and the worded instructions were easy to follow.
I was a little hesitant at first due to being in NZ and kit was shipped from Aussie, about returns if unit was defective.
He assured me that he tests each kit a minimum of 2 or 3 times before shipping. And if i followed the instructions to the letter there would be no issues,
1 thing he did make absolutely clear, the battery had to be disconnected

On difference to his kit and the standard holden system is holding the paddle while in drive can engage sport mode

Factory kit would have cost you the same amount, as I done it with my VF2 SV6. Done the change myself, kit was just the new wheel, paddles and harness. Have to swap wheel controls over. Once installed I took it to the dealer who updated the firmware to say the paddles where there (was done in less than an hr)

Part number for the paddle shift steering wheel kit is 92276595. You'll need the paddle shift option activated in the body control module to function.

What did the firmware update cost you?

From memory i think they charged me about $80 - $90

Is it only the steering wheel? No module?
I should ask... Does it work with vf1?
