Factory kit would have cost you the same amount, as I done it with my VF2 SV6. Done the change myself, kit was just the new wheel, paddles and harness. Have to swap wheel controls over. Once installed I took it to the dealer who updated the firmware to say the paddles where there (was done in less than an hr)

PayPal mate but as I bought it off Facebook they have told me I am not entitled to lodge a claim as it is a private transaction. Have to be careful what I say here as the seller has seen this post and is not happy.

Surely the seller will try to resolve this for you. If it still does not work you probably can get your money back. Give them a chance...

Thanks Ron that's a great help, the far left wire purple colour is the one causing the issue. The new module wire is supposed to plug into that connector, and the seller has never seen a VF with a wire there. By chance does anyone know what exactly this wire does please? We believe this is causing the issue but cant be sure as we don't know what it actually does. Thanks again to everyone for your help so far.

Was thinking about paddles but after seeing this, won't be doing it. Money better spent else wear on the car.

@Clay1391, nothing wrong with adding factory paddle shifters as @vywgn mentioned above, 3rd party kit not needed

The seller is not in the same state as me, communications have now broken down and we are no longer talking. I don't wish to comment any further at this stage. Thanks guys.
