The problem was the steering worked fine again.

The problem was GM/Holden knew there was a safety issue but chose to ignore it in those customer delivered vehicle down under because they didn’t want to spend the money fixing it.

We’ll never know the real backstory and whether regulators dragged GM/Holden to the recall table kicking and screaming “we didn’t do anything wrong” … Times like this you want a robotic fly spying on such back door meetings

I had this issue with my VF once and advised the dealer and they never heard anything about it.

The problem could be on the front page of the news paper with a news bulletin on the TV every hour and you'd still get the dealer's "standard answer" they've never heard of that problem!
