The problem was GM/Holden knew there was a safety issue but chose to ignore it in those customer delivered vehicle down under because they didn’t want to spend the money fixing it.The problem was the steering worked fine again.
We’ll never know the real backstory and whether regulators dragged GM/Holden to the recall table kicking and screaming “we didn’t do anything wrong” … Times like this you want a robotic fly spying on such back door meetings
