A photo set and write up would be nice. (;)hint)
There is the following thread on the subject and it has lots of info and pics

There is also a PDF a forum member produced which outlines all the info needed to do a HUD upgrade though haven‘t looked through all 10 pages of the above thread to see if tits included.

One could always make a more detailed google search than the following google search I made:

Code:
site: forums.justcommodores.com.au installing hud document download

PS: see post #74 of the above thread as @Cam-ralph posted his detailed PDF for this upgrade.

Im actually intending to make both a video and updated guide about it

As Skylarking mentioned, all of this is from Cam Ralph's excellent guide. Im just wanting to add in extra detail to it (With full credits and acknowledgement to Cam)

Just trying to decide on best wiring approach. Originally I wanted to take apart the connecters, and solder needed wires onto the connecting plate inside the connector body, as I wanted to try and avoid cutting my cars factory loom

Last night my testing showed however that the tolerances on the plugs mean you can't squeeze in the extra wire, so now looking like it'll be a cut and join job. So trying to determine best method, cut and solder, or cut and use the metal crimp connectors. Anyone have any thoughts when the wires are quite fine? Both 28 and 24 AWG wire

The more I look at "Some like it hot", the more I like it! (Especially compared to all the boring colours in the background)

Looks fantastic with the Blackout kit
I didn't like the colour much until seeing a picture of panhead's Ute, and the same thing happened to me, the more I look at the colour the more I like it and now, I think the colour is really nice!

or someone has added it in after the fact
No way would someone add HUD to an Evoke, it's a mammoth job and has no wiring for it either. It's doable but massively doubtful. Here's mine when changing the HUD unit that started losing it's clarity.

I use the heat shrink wire connectors. Look on fleabay or try Jaycar. The best thing since sliced bread.

Funny how some of you guys bang on about crap seats in the Evoke ? Fired my Evoke 32000 klm around Bogan pulling a van and my skinny arse loved the seats, no pimples , war wounds or tape worms appeared.

Anyway, i reckon some of you guys are mommys boys and not on the money. Sold my awesome Evoke and am now back in the market to buy exactly the same vehicle.

The Evoke for the Non - Petrol Head is a brilliant vehicle and will punch on forever if properly cared for and serviced.

You lot have a lovely day, Cheers

If you could jump out of Evoke seats into HSV seats and physically compare them back-to-back, you wouldn't have posted that!

My VE Redline seats are more comfortable than the 'semi-custom' seats in the Magnum.
The Maloo seats are even better.
