All my neighbours in the street think our VE series 2 3.0 6 speed auto is a V8 with the way my missus drives it. .
I was really surprised when we first test drove it as how well it does go with the 6 speed auto. Overtaking is a breeze when out on the open road.

For VR vs VE, I would say our VE 3.0 would cream the VR v6 off the line as it would just be getting wheel spin when flooring it. The VE with traction control picks up great off the line.

For VR vs VE, I would say our VE 3.0 would cream the VR v6 off the line as it would just be getting wheel spin when flooring it. .

I have an LSD and only get wheel spin in the wet. PITA when you pull out on T junction near home, which is really hard to see people on the left, when turning right because of some clown building his fence too close to the road. If I don't ease on the pedal I sit there and move about 3m, in 20 seconds even though the speedo says much more than that. Tricky in the dark when you pull out and then see headlights in your mirror that are nearly up your arse end.
