The Story: My Accuator (Spelling) in the passanger door has gone recently. I have attached a picture of what i see when i look at the base of the unit in the door.

My Problem: The darn cable wont budge from the unit, its STUCK !

No amount of pulling, poking and prodding will move it. From the looks of things its the stock GM part that the car came with. I have attached a picture of my new one feat. my ugly head.

The new one has a computer chip in the hole where the cable is ment to go. Am i missing something here ?

My opinion is that you need to change your actuator model to something like her:

another option, if it doesnt have a clip to unclip.

find another actuator loom thing. cut, solder/crimp and heatshrink together.

eventually you will give up on getting the actuator to work.
i have literally pulled the door apart more times then ive had hot dinners to find out why it wont work.
all connections are fine, everything works. sometimes it has a bad day.
then it comes back to working again.
eventually you just go stuff it. and use the keys in the actual door =P
