What year is your VF with injectors issue?

I have a 2013 L77 and have had no injector problems. I use E85 in it. Just last night it clicked over 66,666 kM!

Mine is the same, 2013 L77. 80,000k's, no issue.

It would make sense that the injector change coincided with the change to drop e85 compatibility with MY2014 of which the model run started October 2013?

MY14 was still E85. E85 was dropped for either MY15 or series 2, can't remember which.

Thank you. Yes I just read “the move was made late 2014 with a minor update to the Commodore for cars sold as the 2015 Model Year.”
That, is more likely the start of the problematic Bosch injector model 02 801582 74 as it ties in with the defective population in the poll / thread reports.
It would be interesting to confirm if @Wayne001 has a mix of more reliable old and the two new, add hard data confidence to the theory.

Ok thanks, just trying to find a logical break point at which GM started using the new injectors probe to failure.
Can you provide some more detail?

I'm told all VF models are potentially affected. This seems to be backed up with the vehicles I've seen through the workshop.

Haven't seen any VE's though so there must have been a change into VF. I'm told that when revised injectors become available these are likely to be Bosch's boost friendly version of the same injector - the issue seems to be fuel working its way through the plastic body of the injector into the driver circuit causing it to go open circuit.

Unlikely to be the same issue. The injector issue is a hard circuit fault and not intermittent. If an injector fails it will log an injector open circuit DTC.

Check the injectors impedance to confirm if there is an issue. Two misfires is too few events to say there is an issue.
