hey ladys gents.. does anyone know a good place to get a low kms motor from in nsw?? as i poped a walsh plug and cooked the motor...

motor is the engine still available??? if so how much and how many kms???

hey guys i know this has been covered a few times but there all different.. can anyone tell me what is needed to be swaped over to accomodate a vs ecotec engine.. ecu, wiring loom, radiator,???? the only reason why i ask is the motor has given up and i can get a hold of an excellent vs motor...

not very cold im in sydney. not cold enough to cause troubles. im going to check them today as well as the fuel filter it has to bo one or the other ive checked every thing else.. and yeah im only getting 12 once after another.

is there be a error code for it?? im only getting code 12

i only use std unleaded.. but i think the fuel filter may be cloged up its been run low the last two tanks so i think that could be it or the fuel pump maybe!!!

has anyone installed a pre fab exhaust. is it hard or could it be done at home???

yeah thats true it has the right cap 135kpa. this is myfirst commodore what should the temp gage sitt around at the moment it sits around 1/4 to 1/2 is that normal

the cheap way is to go to kmart/ repco and get an exhaust bandage there are a few different types you can get. all you do is put it on run the car at adle for about 20 mins o seal it and your done!

sounds like it could be a sticky inlet / exhaust valve causing more fule to be pumped in, or it could be the electric choke staying on that would explain the excess fuel used and it running rich

i had the same problem with an rb30 the oil pump would cut out all to gether all of a sudden after about 3000rpm it needed to be replaced! not sure if that helps at all!
