I have also read lots about the terrible Mk8 Golf controls.

To me putting simple to use items (temp, radio volume, even lights) on an electronic screen is bad for usability, and actually dangerous.

With a knob you can reach down without looking and adjust.
If voice control was perfect, then maybe that can replace it.
Plus hard to brick a volume knob!

Yeah, never buy from an Australian reseller. All they do is buy the same crap from AliExpress or Alibaba & sell it at 3 times the price.

Hey mate, Looking to upgrade the mylink system as it is unfortunately terrible, Still going strong? I've seen options from Aus places for 1500+ seems a bit silly. Assuming this should work no dramas with a S2 Redline SSV?
