Dragon Sport is an entry level sports tyre and I would rate the RE050A over them. It's a good tyre - that's all and is sitting about right in your list of prices in terms of range.

Do the search and the Michelin's are definitely the preferred option.

Fallen Azenis outclassed all these tyres in all categories in tyre of the year magazine.

The PS4 is a very good tyre. The 4S is even better. But of those you've quoted above, I'd go for the PS4. I am not a fan of the B 050's. Overpriced and overated in my view. I've had enough of them on new Commodore's and everything I've replaced them with has performed better. Including Bridgestone 003's. Far more grip and better turn in than 050's. They did wear more quickly than the 050's. But I'm harsh on tyres.
I haven't tried the Nitto's, but read good things. Same for Pirelli Dragons.
+1 for the RE003's. You trade some wear for grip.
Although I put them on a car in 2015, so they may be getting a bit of an older style now. The step up in performance from the OEM tyres was significant.
Best to wait for the 4 for the price of 3 offer if you can, to help with the budget, it comes up every few months or so.

Bob Jane has the 4 for 3 offer at the moment, if anyone is game dealing with that mob ;)

Anyone tried the Bridgestone S007As, which were selected for Project Monaro? Looks to have a good size range that will suit stock rims.

Everyone raves the PS4 if they're in your price range.

I have the invo's but have 275 rears. Theyre quiet, grip great, handle well. Don't be afraid of them if you need to save a buck.
