Hmmm … for some reason I just envisaged the African practice of carrying 10's of litres of liquid upon one's head being massively embiggened via the addition of a straw ...

I'd never have realised we had cup-holders back there except for this thread (or others like it); if someone had presented to me a penny-pinching list of things to delete, this would be in my "would never have noticed" category.

Oh, I fully accept there are freaks out there who allow their children to eat & drink in the car … but are they in a financial position to buy a car or in any way influence the choice of the car being bought?

Well sometimes it is hard to have three kids in the back that only want to drink in the car. Yesterday mine had Zooper Doopers and then on the way home from the beach they had frozen cokes. They are usually not allowed to eat but sometimes it just has to happen. Brand New Calais V in 2003 had a GF eat McDonalds fries in the front. the car was only 500kms old The Director on the other hand......

You'd hate my car! Full of dog hair in the back seats! Very close to my blacks now so I'm debating how I'm going to negotiate around it with leather seats. The thick plastic covers might do the trick for the seats, but what about the door trim?
