There isn't a conversion factor from rear wheel power on a chassis dyno to power at the flywheel or crank. Only an engine dyno can accurately measure actual engine power and claiming engine power from a chassis dyno (rear wheel) power reading is a rough estimate at best.HP on mine with no other work is 506 RWHP = 372RWKW not sure on the conversion to
crank output and if being an auto trans makes any difference .
Someone with a bigger brain may be of use here.
Yes, if we use 15% driveline loss, the 557kw kit should make around 474rwkw.So RevNev would you hazard a guesstimate that the drivetrain loss at around 15% ?
Standard diff , as far as i know diff change isn't part of the W package .
So that being on the 557 W
RWKW would be in the range of 474 kw = 635 ish RWHP with my rough maths .
"Walkinshaw engineers" you mean the tuning bloke at each Walkinshaw Performance agent? Both WP agents in SA told me a couple of years ago the upgrade kits don't come with a tuning file to flash from Walkinshaw head office as part of the kit. One told me they can source a tune from a WP agent in Perth to get the car running and they trim it up from there.we spoke to there long time turner marty and he said all the walkinshaw up grades are flash tuned and that they were specifically
dyno tuned by walkinshaw engineers for each power package
