check fuse 13 and 21
Okay will do thanks
Also not sure why immobiliser light flashes yet mode button does not work? Entirely different circuit? Immobiliser does disengage since the car runs.

Mode and hazard buttons worked prior to job so something shorted and blew heaps of things when I connected battery. Basically everything worked as is before doing rear main and intake gaskets

So I checked fuse 13 and 21 they only both work with ignition ON. As I mentioned before how the middle column of fuses were dead they worked with a test light with ignition ON so I guess it gets 12V when ignition is on and not constant 12V.

I have confirmed every fuse under the dash works with ignition ON *EXCEPT* fuse 11 which is instrument illum 7.5A. I swapped it with a working 7.5A and still doesn’t work?? Fuel pump and engine cont BCM fuses swapped and still don’t work with or without ignition on (engine bay fuse box). I’m stumped on fuse 11 which makes sense cos nothing is lighting up on dash, could it be the chunky relays in the engine bay fuse box? I have a VT SS I can swap them over with so I will try that later today

I hope the PCB board in the cluster isn’t fried but I don’t know how that would happen with no power for a while then a sudden 12V spike after months since battery was disconnected

fuse 11 should have power when park lights are on and not when lights off
fuse 21 10A under dash, should be constant 12v
with ignition off check both sides of fuse 21

I just confirmed
fuse 11 works (both sides) when park lights are on

Fuse 21 works (both sides) ignition off constant 12V

Looks like cluster board is finished? Or the fusible links?

fusible links supply power to fuses, so if you have power at fuses, fusible links must be ok
remove cluster and check pin 19 pink/blue should have power with ignition on
pin 20 orange/yellow constant 12v
pin 6 black/yellow ground

Do you have OBD to the car? Software on Elm Street (among a few others) has really good diags to see where power is and isn't from which you can isolate poles and looms. You might even have trouble codes that can't trigger a CEL due to canbus faults
