    yeah mate as said above ^ try that. if the steering wheel is only very slightly off centre though then that method may not work as there is so much gap between each hole. if it is off-centre by only a very small amount than you what you need to do is make sure your wheels are facing 100% forward...

    if its slipping bad either way the kickdown is adjusted, then that probably means your tranny is on its way out. yer a shift kit should probably fix your problem (depending on what the actual problem is), but to install a shift kit into a dying transmission is not too smart as a shift kit...

    it really depends on how you use your car. if your constantly putting your foot down, or if you tow around a fair bit of weight alot, or if you have a shift kit or some other modification to your tranny then its probably a good idea, but if none of those apply to you then its probably not worth...

    what david dubbo means is the electronic module that the coil packs are mounted to that the wiring connects to (not the actual metal mount itself), it is black and a rectangle shape wedged between the coil packs and the metal mounting

    Yeah i'd be looking at the distributor cap first up (but not sure how to test them cos I have a v6 and use coil packs not the dizzy's) maybe even just something really small like making sure the leads and lead that runs to the dizzy is connected properly?

    i believe the vn's had an issue with these buttons running an aftermarket antenna, but the genuine ones work fine. and the problem was resolved in the vp series (just what ive heard)
