nice dirt intake, you will be changing filters everytime you do a service with a setup like this

Yeah but honestly mate if you're worried about police picking on your air intake, just don't be a knob when you're pulled over.. that seems to work fine. From my experience if a person is polite they will be looked at far less harshly than if they are a rude prick to the police officer. I've been pulled over countless times in my VR 5.0 and have never even been asked to pop the bonnet. It is the noisiest, most obviously non-standard car.

Is that such a bad thing? :p I change my spark plugs at every 10,000km service. $24 isn't exactly a lot of money when you're buying $37 bottles of oil. A $10 filter won't hurt either.

I do my oil and filter every 5,000, and sparks and leads every 30,000 or so I guess. Sparks are always in pretty good condition, I don't see the need to change them any more often :)

I clean the K&N every service if it needs it.. doesn't always.

well if your cool with your car being a vacuum cleaner then i spose thats entirely up to you, but there are better ways of getting cold air
