I have the Cream trim in my Calais
not really keen on the color it gets dirty very easy
has anyone ever stained it black because I`m thinking about it
Don’t know but you may be better off $ wise by selling your “cream” interior and buying a black interior instead. And it will be better than some polish of some equally naff dye job.

Some love the titanium or “cream“ interior and are willing to pay a premium for the premium look ;):p

Sure it’s the cream ? And not the off white or beige ?

Kinda ends up poo brown rather than black.
Pro tip - ensure you've sat in really high carbon oil.
Sat in a B727 captain's seat with absolutely filthy overalls on.
Left black smudges all over the lambswool covers. No spare seat covers in Melbourne.
Plane was delayed trying to get spares from Sydney.

Got into deep do do for that one...

I would've struggled to convince the person who owns our car & drives it most of the time to buy a V8 Commodore, if it'd been the all-black interior ... even more so if it'd been the oppressive black hood-lining as well!

I'm getting the "Kingswood Country" vibe.

I think VF2 V8 Calais are all V's or Director. The base Calais are V6's.
Survey says ... for VF1 & VF2, if it's V8 it's a Calais V.
You couldn't get a non-V V8 in VF1 or VF2, although the V was available in both V6 & V8 up 'til the end.

The first VF SSV I saw on the showroom floor had that "cream" trim and roof lining and my immediate thought was the idiot at Holden who signed off on that needs the sack! They destroyed a potentially great looking interior particularly for an SSV. Fortunately, the cream didn't last for long on the SSV dash, door trims and seats.
