i didnt mean cut into the chassis.....i meant as in cut up the parcel shelf...i got a vl, and it has a particleboard shelf that sits on the actual chassis....in the vl it was a matter of cutting holes in the particle board as there are already holes in the chassis for 6" speakers in the rear...

Strathfield charge a fortune in Sydney...they wanted $110 to install 6x9's... which is a rip seen as it is a matter of cutting two holes in the parcel tray and running speaker cable to the head unit. if you can do the doors you could easily do the 6x9's as well..there are heaps of how to's on...

The executive doesnt have the wiring looms for the calais front.u can get an aftermarket version of the calais front for 300 bucks, it looks real but is really just one piece. think that is the best thing if the car doesnt have great security or if its a young driver...but thats just my opinion..
